COMMONWEALTH GAMES: Benjamin Azamati and Safo Antwi through to 100m semis

Ghana’s Benjamin Azamati and Sean Safo-Antwi are both through to the semifinals of the Men’s 100m event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The pair both made it out of their respective Heats with Azamati finishing top in Heat 7 with a time of 10.19s.

Safo-Antwi on the other hand finished fourth in Heat 10 but managed to sail through as one of the non-automatic qualifiers with a time of 10.33s

The two will both compete in the semi finals which come off tomorrow.

Meanwhile both Azamati and Safo Antwi will be in the tracks for Ghana in the Men’s 4×100 relay.
