Ghanaian sprinters Benjamin Azamati and Sean Safo-Antwi have qualified for the semi finals of the Men’s 100m at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Azamati finished in 1st Place in heat 7 with a time of 10.19s where he qualified with Wales’ Jeremiah Azu.
He started poorly but cruises his opponents to claim the first position.
Sean Safo-Antwi also finishes 4th in his heat but qualified as one of the fastest losers.
Sean Sarfo-Antwi also secured a semi-final berth after running 10.33 in Heat 10.
The semi finals of the Men’s 100m is Wednesday, August 3 at 6:00pm.
