Ghana’s female boxer Dr Ornella Sathoud lost to England’s Kerry Davis in the Women’s Middleweight event at the Commonwealth Games.
Sathoud lost in a split decision having completed all the rounds with his opponents.
The boxer who is ranked third in Africa and 10th in the World could not advance past the round of 32.
Ghana thus misses out on a medal in the Women’s boxing and will now be turning attention to the Men.
