Ex-Black Stars Goalie Abubarkar Damba lauds two teenage goalkeepers

Former Black Stars Goalkeeper Abubarkar Damba was in all praise after spotting two talents in a Community Football game.

The Ghana legend was at the Adenta Community Football park over the weekend to catch a glimpse of a gala organized by the Youth of the Community.

Damba who was the special guest of honor in the event organized by Akyeriba Business Group, indigenes of Adenta was however welcomed with great football exhibitions especially by two teenage goalkeepers.

Joshua Quartey and Jacob Armah Akolga were the talking points in the two-day football gala following their exploits.

The teenagers entertained spectators with some amazing performances which also saw them earn plaudits from the former Hearts of Oak goalkeepers Coach.

“I am amazed with the talent showcased here, especially with the two young goalkeepers I saw, he said.

“Looking at how young they are and keeping the post should tell you what holds for them in the future.

“They really have something special in them and I will encouraged them to keep working hard.”

Both Quartey and Akolga currently play for “The Beautiful Game” football club based in Adenta.
