Ghana U17 star dazzles fans in Community Football game

Ghana U17 winger Peter Tawiah emerged as one of the outstanding players in a Community football game over the weekend.

The youngster was a delight to watch as he helped his side clinch the ultimate in the 16-team gala organized at the Adenta Community football park.

Tawiah, a member of Ghana’s U17 side which missed out on qualification to the 2o20 Africa U17 Cup of Nations was the toast of fans that trooped to watch the games.

His talent on the day was not in doubt aiding his team to victory.

The annual football gala championed by Akyeriba Business Group have produced several stars from the Community including former Ghana U20 and Berekum Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Essiam who now ply his trade in the Swiss League for FC Basel, Hearts of Oak defender Larry Sumaila as well as Great Olympics full back Abdul Bashiru who previously played for Dreams FC, Ashanti Gold , Bechem United and Ismaily.
