Reports reaching 442sports.com indicates that Hearts of Oak have signed top defender Konadu Yiadom.
The former WAFA man has penned a three year contract with the Rainbow Club and will join them for preseason.
The signing took place at the club’s secretariat in Accra, Adabraka in the last hours of Monday evening, together with his agent Oscar Mawuli Nuworti and Board Member Vincent Odotei Sowah.
Earlier reports had it that, the Black Galaxies centre-back had already signed a pre-contract with the Phobians and will be part of Coach Samuel Boadu’s charges ahead of the new campaign and their participation in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Just 22, the former Tema United man joined WAFA in 2018 in a three-year deal, he quickly settled at the Sogakope side as his prowess in the heart of defense has seen him being named among the best centre-backs in the Ghana Premier League.
Yaidom duing his stay with WAFA played in over 80 games and scored 5 goals, helping his side to place third in the 2021-2022 season under former Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
With his registration done, the club will officially announce their latest signing tomorrow and has been asssigned number 5 jersey which was previously worn by Frederick Ansah Botchway.
