Kodzi, Ansah Botchway are surplus to requirement – Hearts of Oak terminates contract of duo

Accra Hearts of Oak have terminated the contract of striker Kofi Kordzi and midfielder Frederick Ansah Botchway by mutual consent.

Hearts of Oak on their website announced that the pair are surplus to requirement.

Kordzi returned to Hearts of Oak before the start of the 2021/22 season on a two-year deal after a short stint with Qatari side Muaither SC.

He made 22 appearances and scored seven goals for the rainbow boys.

Frederick Ansah Botchway, who is said to be unhappy with the treatment meted out to him has also left the Ghana Premier League giants has also left the club.

The duo are currently free agents and will have to find new clubs before the start of the 2022/23 season.
