Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh has made a switch from Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor to English Championship side Hull City.

The bulky-25-year-old striker left on a free transfer and signed a two-year deal with Hull City.

The former U20 striker began his youth career in his native country with Tudu Mighty Jets and Dreams, before moving to Belgian side Standard Liège in 2015.

Winning the Belgian Cup with Les Rouches in his first season, the 25-year-old spent time on loan in the Czech Republic, first with FC Slovácko and then Bohemians Praha 1905.

Following two seasons in the Czech Republic, Tetteh remained in the country permanently by signing for 36-time league champions Sparta Prague.

The forward won the Czech Cup in 2020 at Železná Sparta, making 75 appearances in all competitions over two seasons, netting 19 goals and registering nine assists.

Tetteh moved to Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor on loan ahead of the 2020/21 season’s campaign.
