Asante Kotoko SC are back in the domestic transfer market in pursuit of their ninth major signing as they look to beef up their playing body ahead of their return to continental football.
The reigning Ghana Premier league champions snatched eight new faces in another busy transfer window led by the arrival of more foreigners into their playing body.
The latest on the wish list of Asante Kotoko SC is Bright Adjei of Aduana Stars as they seek to secure the services of a scoring wide man.
Bright Adjie finished the 2021/22 domestic football season as the third best scorer in the league despite playing largely as a wide man and has earned many admirers in the league.
Asante Kotoko SC reportedly scouted him extensively across the season and are convinced he is the missing piece in their jigsaw puzzle.
An official offer will be submitted to Aduana Stars in the coming weeks as they seek to finalize the deal as soon as possible.
The first eight signings from the camp of Asante Kotoko SC are seen below:
Fredrick Asante, Moise Dassise, Thomas Pele, Sheriff Morison, Ernest Osei Poku, Serge Eric Zeze and Steven Mukwala.
