WAFU B WCL: Ampem Darkoa takes on U.S.F.A in group opener

Ghana Women’s League Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies will begin their WAFU B Zonal qualifiers of the CAF Women’s Champions League today as they take on Union Sportive des forces Armees (Burkina Faso).

The tournament which is being played in Ivory Coast will see the two clubs lock horns at 3:00pm.

 

Ampem Darkoa ladies were drawn in Group B alongside Union Sportive des forces Armees (Burkina Faso), Athleta FC(Togo) and Bayelsa Queens (Nigeria).

Group A will see AS D’Abidjan (Cote D’Ivoire), AS Police (Niger) and Espor FC (Benin) compete against each other.

The winner and runner up in the WAFU B qualifiers will represent the zone in the main competition scheduled for Morocco later in the year.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies are Ghana’s representative after emerging winners of the 2021/2022 Women’s Premier League.
