Ghanaian goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has signed a two-year contract with Asante Kotoko, completing his return to the Kumasi-based giants after a two-year spell in Ethiopia.
Danlad spent the past two seasons with Ethiopian club Ethiopia Coffee SC, gaining valuable experience away from Ghana before returning home ahead of the new campaign.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper has recently been spotted training with Asante Kotoko at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra, fuelling speculation about his return to the club.
His presence at Kotoko’s training sessions has now been followed by the completion of a two-year agreement, with Danlad set to compete for the starting goalkeeping position as the Porcupine Warriors strengthen their squad.
Danlad is no stranger to Asante Kotoko, having previously been part of the club before his move to Ethiopia. His return adds further depth and competition to the goalkeeping department as Kotoko prepare for the upcoming season.
