The Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram is set to host the 32nd Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) today, Thursday, August 20, 2026, with key stakeholders of Ghana football gathering for the annual statutory meeting. The event is expected to bring together representatives from clubs, regional football associations and other constituent bodies to deliberate on matters concerning the administration and development of the game.

Ahead of the opening of proceedings, the venue has taken on a distinctly footballing atmosphere, with preparations completed to receive delegates and officials for the major gathering. The Prampram facility, which serves as the technical centre of the GFA, has regularly provided the setting for important football activities, including training programmes, competitions and administrative engagements.

The Congress, which is scheduled to begin at 9:00am, provides the GFA membership with an opportunity to review the activities of the past football season and consider issues shaping the direction of the sport. Under the GFA Statutes, Ordinary Congress is the supreme legislative authority of the Association and is required to meet once every football season.

With delegates arriving at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, attention now turns to the deliberations and decisions that will emerge from the gathering. Stay with us as we bring you pictures and updates from the grounds at Prampram throughout the Congress.
