Another managerial change has hit Ghanaian football following the resignation of Eugene Noel Nobel as General Manager of Ghana Premier League side Swedru All Blacks FC, just days before the start of the 2026/27 league season.
Nobel’s resignation brings an end to his tenure with the Swedru-based club after he played an important role in the team’s return to Ghana’s top flight. He joined the club during a significant period and helped oversee its transition back to Premier League football after a 16-year absence.
The GFA Executive Council member was also involved in the club’s first season back in the elite division, helping the Black and Whites navigate their return and secure their Premier League status. His departure now represents another notable change in football administration following Julius Ben Emmunah’s exit.
In his resignation letter, Nobel expressed appreciation to the club’s Board, Management, staff and players for the opportunity to serve, while wishing the technical team and playing body success in the upcoming campaign.
The development comes as Swedru All Blacks prepare for another Premier League campaign. The club opened the 2026/27 season on September 6 with a narrow 1-0 away defeat to Basake Holy Stars, leaving the newly promoted side still searching for its first points of the season.
