Heart of Lions are looking to extend their winning streak in the Ghana Premier League when they welcome AshantiGold to the Kpando Sports Stadium for a Matchday 5 clash on Sunday.
The Kpando-based side comes into the tie riding high on confidence following a hard-fought away victory in Wenchi last weekend—their first win on the road this season.
With momentum on their side, the Lions’ technical team and squad are eyeing another disciplined performance to claim all three points and cement their strong start to the campaign.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, Heart of Lions Communications Director Eric Eli Adzie emphasized the crucial role fans will play in driving the team to victory.
“We need our supporters behind the team,” Adzie said. “The players have shown determination and commitment, and now we need the 12th man at the Kpando Sports Stadium. We are calling on every Heart of Lions supporter to come to the stadium on Sunday and support the team from the first whistle to the last.”
Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, with the hosts aiming to make the Kpando Sports Stadium a fortress once again.
